Thankful Turkey!

So I went shopping on Wednesday, bought my supplies, and created my thankful turkey!  I got the idea here.  I haven't made the turkey face so it looks kinda funny right now...but each day the mister and I write something we are thankful for and stick a feather in the turkey!  The mister really liked the idea and I'm interested to see what we will write once we get over the everyday items: family, health, home... :)

Here's the "faceless" turkey!

And I also found some stuff on sale at Wal-mart and put this little centerpiece together:

It won't stay around long, but I'm hoping to find more crafty ideas for Christmas centerpieces!

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

I love your Thanksgiving Turkey. What a cute idea! My Gratitude Tree has grown many leaves. My son laughed about it at first, saying he wasn't going to do it and such, but now I think he's actually enjoying it! :) I love the things he has written. My mister has come up with some great ones, too. My plan is to have everyone read theirs out loud at Thanksgiving dinner.

You centerpiece is adorable! Very creative.

Have a great weekend!

What a great idea! I think I'm going to steal that idea too. Especially with the holidays and the rush, it's nice to take time and actually think about the joys and blessings that give us the holidays to start!

What a great idea! I will definitely have to do that next year. To answer your question, I use picnik.com to do my collages. It is free, but I recently purchased the premium version, and it has so much more features. I just love it!
