W - 2 years, 9 months

In just 3 short months, Little Man will be 3 years old!

We have seen our share of the "terrible twos," but if that's the worst of it, I think we've done pretty well!

I have tried to keep up with some of the things he has said or done worth recording in the past two months (since I didn't have a written update last month).

When he was playing with his train one day, he said, "Hey Whatcha doin train?  I’m taking care of the me! Well hey! Hey! Hey! What choo doing?"

And holding his bus in one hand, and a stop sign in the other, he said, "Hey Stop Sign!! Hey Stop Sign!!"

In the crib one day, I heard him say, "Don't say no to Winston!"... hmmm, wonder where he gets that from!

And later in the crib, he said, "What's that sound?  It's okay! It's just a tractor. It's just a tractor."

On the way home from church, I heard W say something about Jesus, so I asked him, “Where is Jesus?”  W: “In the picture!” Me: “Oh okay.”
A few seconds later… W: “Hi Mr. W. How are you doing?, Me: “Who said that to you?” W: Jesus! Me: What did you say to him? W:  I’m coming to your house today! Me: What else did you say to him?  W: “You come over to my house!”
Later I wanted to see if he would talk about Jesus for B, so I asked him, “Did you talk to Jesus today?”  W: “Yeah. Jesus cried a little bit.”  Me: “Why?”  W: “He wanted to go nap nap.”

Those are just some of the things I have written down, but there are so many other sweet and cute things he does.  He definitely prefers his Daddy putting him to bed now over Mama.  He makes us take off our shirts for some reason when we are rocking him.  He will lay down and fall asleep on his Daddy's chest.  But he will not do that with me! He won't even lay down on me!

We just changed converted his crib to a toddler bed on the 16th, and he has done great!  He doesn't even get out until we tell him it's okay!

Love my little man!

He's such a cutie! I bet he makes you laugh every day. Noah prefers Daddy to put him to bed now, too.
